WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026
World environment day was observed with great fervour and environmental consciousness in our school on 5th June 2026. The programme commenced with an eco conscious pledge reaffirming our collective
commitment to protecting and preserving nature. Students eloquently shared
their thoughts on the significance of the day, followed by a melodious song celebrating the beauty and harmony of the natural world.The Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the urgent need tonature environmental responsibility and sustainable living practices among the younger generation. The occasion was further enriched by the presence of Sajini (Sub Inspector of Police, Feroke) who graced the event as the Chief Guest. In her inspiring address, she encouraged the students to become active
participants in safe guarding the environment.
A meaningful sapling exchange programme was organized. During which students exchanged the plants they had brought from their respective classes, symbolizing friendship, growth and a shared commitment to a greener future. Adding significance to the celebration, a sapling was ceremoniously planted in
the school premises by the chief guest, Principal, Vice Principal and students together.
The event concluded with a photo session, preserving the cherished moments of the day. The celebration served as a gentle reminder that even small actions can contribute significantly towards building a cleaner, greenerand more sustainable world.

ENVIRONMENT DAY
On 5th June, World Environment Day was observed at our school with the aim of creating a clear environment. To create awareness among the students many posters, placards and slogans, conveying the need to protect and preserve nature, were displayed. As part of the day, quiz competition was also held. But the highlight of the day was “Changathikkoru Maram’’- students brought saplings and exchanged it. The young ones , who carried the saplings enthusiastically, appeared to be responsible citizens committed to build a greener world. It was also a promise to take care of the precious gift that nature has bestowed on us. The programmes came to an end reinforcing the fact that a seed in the soil is always a hope for the future.
