CHILDRENS DAY 2025

Childrens Day at our school was an occasion for joyful celebration. The cultural programmes began with an inspiring speech by the Principal, which highlighted the values that the children need to uphold in their lives. For Jawaharlal Nehru, the children were flowers in a garden; the children performing on the stage also appeared to be colourful butterflies, fluttering in a beautiful garden. Their tiny hands and feet seemed to proclaim that : “we are the hope of the future’’. The dance items, the speeches remembering Jawaharlal Nehru and his great fondness for children and all the other programmes captured the real spirit of the occasion. The teachers also proved that they still have a child in their hearts by being a part of this exciting and interesting events on the occasion. Since it was their day all the children were given a chance to dance to the music. Truly it was a day to reveal their innocence and cuteness.

Our Mission

Imbided by the spirit and zeal of the foundress the Venerini sisters dedicate themselves for the noble cause of education with the motto “Educate to set free”.. Venerini s’ nurturing environment embraces the Gospel message through religious and academic instruction of its dedicated staff. Through the inspiration of the educational belief of Saint Rosa Venerini, “To educate is to liberate,” we foster the spiritual, moral, physical, intellectual, and social development of the child. We provide a solid foundation which allows each student to make a positive impact in the community.

Our History

The Indian mission was the dream and desire of mother Alba Pescatori, who was then the Superior General of the Congregation. The dream was happily realized by her staunch faith in God and preserving prayer and sacrifice. A group of 4 Venerini Sisters led by Sr.Lea Altigieri landed in India and they were accommodated by the Sisters of Charity in Calicut. With the help of late Bishop Rt.Rev. Aldo Maria Patroni and Rev.Fr.Joseph Vergotini S.J, the sisters could find a small plot with a house which belonged to late.Mr.John Valander...
